01

Before you buy: exactly what happens

What you are charged
$19.00 every month, or $189.00 every 12 months if you choose annual — which works out at $15.75 a month, taken as one payment.
When
On the day you start, and on the same date every month (or every 12 months) after that. It renews automatically until you cancel.
How to cancel
One click, from inside the extension, at any time. No phone call, no form asking why, no offer you have to decline first. Cancelling stops the next payment and you keep the month you have already paid for.
Before an annual renewal
Because the annual plan runs 12 months, we email you between 15 and 45 days before it renews, with the amount, the date, and a link that cancels it. You will not be surprised by a $189 charge a year from now.
Tax
Software like this is taxable in some states. Where it applies, the tax is shown at checkout before you pay, never added afterwards.
If you change your mind
Tell us within 30 days and we refund what you have not used. Email [email protected].

[PLACEHOLDER] /checkout is not connected yet. The form below is the real checkout screen, wired to nothing: it hands off to the payment page once that is live. Subscribing also works from inside the extension, which is where most people will do it.

Billing period

Payment is taken by Stripe. Your card details go to them, not to us.

What $19 buys

Building a module by hand takes 3–4 hours. Course++ does it in about four minutes.

At $19 a month, that is less than half an hour of your time.

  • Every course you teach. There is no per-course charge and no seat count.
  • The standard writing setting, which is the one we recommend for real work — and the thorough setting for a large or complicated job.
  • 500 credits a month (see below), which is the fair-use line, not a meter you have to watch.
  • Support from the person who builds it.

04

How credits work

A credit is one cent of the writing work the tool does for you. You are charged for what it actually did, to two decimal places — never rounded up, never a charge for a job that failed.

What a build actually costs

We built the same thing twice on the standard setting — a module, an overview page, three assignments, a five-question quiz and a discussion, eighteen items in all:

Two runs of an identical 18-item build, 9 September 2026.
RunCredits usedItems madeChecked back
First10.71818 of 18
Second21.01818 of 18

The same job cost about twice as much the second time. That is normal and we would rather show it than average it away. It is also why there is no “builds per month” number on this page: two runs is not enough to make one honestly, and a made-up number is worse than none.

What expires and what does not

Your monthly 500
Comes with the month and goes with it. It is the service you bought that month, not a balance you are saving up. On the annual plan the same 500 arrive each month — paying for the year does not hand you 6,000 at once.
Top-up packs you buy
Never expire. Not after a year, not if you cancel. You paid for them and they stay yours.
Free credits
14 days from when they unlock. They are a trial, and we say so at the point we give them to you rather than in the small print.

Top-ups, if you have a big term

Top-up packs. For subscribers who need more in a particular month; buy any number of them at once.
PackCreditsExpires
$10225Never
$25600Never

Packs cost more per credit than the subscription does. That is deliberate and we would rather say it than hide it: the subscription is the cheapest way to buy, which is the honest reason to be on one.

We also make GradeBrain, a grading tool. If you use both, the two subscriptions together are $29 a month.

Start free

About 80 pages’ worth of course content, free, no card. Enough to build something real and keep it.

The free credits unlock when you open a course you teach. We ask Canvas whether you can edit that course — it takes a second and needs nothing from you. Course++ writes into real courses, so confirming you teach one is the one check we do not skip.

Whatever you build is yours. If you never subscribe, the content stays in your course exactly as it is.
