Course++ AI Assistant for Canvas

Your next module, built inside Canvas.

Course++ is a browser extension that writes pages, assignments, quizzes and whole modules into the course you already have open. It works through the Canvas login you already have — no IT ticket, nothing to install on your school’s system.

Add to Chrome Add to Firefox Add to Edge Add to Safari

Your first 250 credits are on us — enough to build several full modules. No card. They last 14 days.

Or get it for another browser:

Course++ is in the Chrome Web Store. Brave, Vivaldi and Arc install it from there too, Edge does after you allow extensions from other stores, and Opera does with Opera’s Install Chrome Extensions add-on. The Firefox and Safari versions are planned but not built yet, so their buttons take you to the waitlist for now. Leave your email and we will send you the link the day there is one.

You type one sentence.

The extension opens beside your course. You describe what you want in the words you would use talking to a colleague — how many questions, worth how many points, due which week. Scope is the whole skill, and it is the only skill.

The extension’s compose box, rebuilt here from the same design tokens as the real one. Not a screenshot, and not a drawing of a browser.

It shows you the plan, builds it, then reads its own work back.

You see the plan and what it will cost before anything is written. Canvas quietly ignores some edits — a graded discussion’s title is the classic one — so Course++ re-reads every item afterwards and tells you what actually landed, instead of a student finding out.

A recreation of one build, run at reading speed. The wording of each step is the product’s own.

What it makes

Pages
Overviews, orientation pages, study guides — anything student-facing.
Assignments
Instructions, points, a due date, and a rubric that matches the instructions.
Quizzes
Questions plus the feedback that explains each wrong answer.
Discussions
Prompts written to get an answer longer than one line.
Whole modules
All of the above, in order, with the dates set for a given week.

It also works on what is already there: rewrite unclear instructions, add a knowledge check after each reading, or find every image in the course that is missing alt text.

What it will not do

It does not grade.
That is a different tool of ours, GradeBrain, coming soon. This one writes course content and stops there.
It will not publish your course without asking.
It can publish, unpublish, conclude, restore or reset a course when you ask, and it always asks you to confirm first — every time. Resetting deletes everything in the course and can’t be undone. It also asks you before it changes a course setting.
It will not message your students without showing you first.
When you ask, it can send a Canvas message to a whole class or one group in it, after showing you the exact message. It never reads your inbox or the replies.
It works in the course you have open.
Opened outside a course — from your Dashboard, say — it can work across all the courses you teach. The panel shows which courses are in reach, and Course++ is set up to tell you which ones it will change before it starts.
It cannot read student work, grades or rosters.
Not filtered out afterwards — refused before the request is built.

An afternoon of clicking, or four minutes of typing.

Building a module by hand takes three to four hours. This does it in about four minutes, in the tab you already have open.

On Firefox or Safari? Those versions are not built yet — leave your email and you will get the link the day yours is. No card, no obligation.

We use your email only to send you the link. See our Privacy Policy.
