GradeBrain is a sibling product from the team that builds Course++. Where Course++ writes course content and by design never reads or grades student work, GradeBrain is the other half: it will read a submission, score it against your rubric, and hand back written feedback — with a stable pseudonym in place of each student’s name before any of it leaves your browser.

GradeBrain doesn’t exist yet as a product you can use — this page is where interest gets collected while it’s built. Nothing here reads or sends student data today.
What it will do
- Grade against your rubric
- Score a submission the way you already grade it, and write feedback a student can actually use — not just a number.
- Keep names out of it
- Each student is replaced with a stable pseudonym, like “Student 1,” before anything reaches the grading model. The map back to real names stays on your device and is never sent anywhere.
- Flag what needs a second look
- Submissions the model isn’t confident about get surfaced for you to check, instead of a quiet guess.
This is the design we’re building toward, described plainly because it’s where this is headed — not a description of a shipped product.
What it will not do
- It isn’t available yet.
- This page is a waitlist, not a demo. There are no screenshots below because there is nothing built yet to screenshot.
- It won’t post a grade on its own.
- You review what it produces before anything goes into Canvas. The decision to post a grade stays yours.
- It isn’t Course++.
- Course++ writes course content and, by design, never reads or grades student work — that boundary doesn’t move. Ask it to grade something today and it will tell you plainly that this is where to look instead.
